Seeing a doctor
SEEING A DOCTOR
Surgeries and clinics are by appointment, which can be made by telephone or in person. We encourage you to settle on a doctor within the practice who will be your usual doctor and see you whenever possible. Appointments are 10 minutes long, so if you have more than one problem, or feel you need extra time, please ask for a double appointment. If you find that you cannot keep the appointment, please don't forget to cancel it. You can cancel by ringing us, or by using this form. We use the Advanced Access system which releases appointments within 48 hours, so you should always get an urgent consultation on the day you need it. If you need a review ordered by your doctor you should be able to book further ahead.

We also offer online appointment booking for all registered patients. Patients who wish to access this service must contact reception for a username and pin number.

To find out when doctors are available, go to Surgery Hours.
SEEING A NURSE
The nurses are available from 8:30 am to 5:45 pm from Monday to Friday, by appointment. They run a non-appointment contraceptive pill repeat clinic at 8:30 am every Thursday. They also offer a travel clinic 6:30 to 8pm on Mondays.
To find out which other services they offer, go to Clinical Services.
To find out when individual nurses are available, go to Surgery Hours.
SEEING A HEALTH VISITOR
The health visitors work from Antrim House, 5-11 Stormont Road, just over Lavender Hill from the Surgery. Their telephone number is 020 7441 0708.

SEEING A DIETICIAN
Your GP will refer you to the dietician, who has an appointment book at the reception desk. Please make an appointment by asking the receptionists. There is a weekly session on Thursday afternoons. Click here for more information about the services provided.
SEEING A PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Your GP will refer you to the physiotherapist, who will make her own appointments by ringing you during the daytime. We will therefore need an up-to-date telephone number. The Physiotherapist has sessions on Tuesdays and Fridays all day, and keeps a number of appointments for urgent problems. Click here for more information about the services provided.
SEEING A COUNSELLOR
Your GP will refer you to the practice counsellors, who will send you an appointment by post. They have a waiting list of up to three months.
SEEING AN ADDICTION COUNSELLOR
Your GP will refer you to the addiction counsellor, who can provide help with giving up addictions to street drugs and addictive prescribed drugs.
OUT OF HOURS

Overnight and at weekends, calls are taken by Harmoni, the Wandsworth contracted out of hours service. You will speak to one of their  nurses or doctors, who will decide how to help you. They have out of hours clinics at the Bolingbroke hospital and can visit at home if necessary.
