Dr Catherine Kroll

MA MBBS MRCP MRCGP

Registered in 1979

Dr. Kroll joined the practice in 1983. She has 2 grown up children, and works seven sessions a week in the practice. She is a GP Trainer. She has a special interest in Women's Health and offers the full range of family planning services, including coil and implant fitting.

She also specialises in dermatology and offers minor surgery every Tuesday morning. She prescribes Roaccutane for Acne. She does joint injections. She can provide consultations in French, if pressed. She also is the lead partner in practice computing, never happier than when tinkering with the practice system. She also is now responsible for this practice website.

Dr. Freeman joined the practice in 1984. He works six sessions a week in the practice. He is a GP Trainer. His special interests include mens' health and care of the elderly. He has been a Clinical Lecturer at St. George's Medical School and has completed a postgraduate degree in medical humanities. He is the practice lead in business planning. He is Appraisal lead for Wandsworth PCT.

Dr. Robinson joined the practice in 1989. She has one teenage child. She works four sessions a week in the practice. Her special interest is in Diabetes care. She is responsible for nurse management in the practice.

Dr Jeremy Gray

Registered in 1986

Dr. Gray joined the practice having trained under Professor Higgs at the Walworth Road surgery before moving to Battersea in 1991. He was the director of the Battersea Research Group a primary care research organisation until 2006 and now works five sessions a week in the practice and as Clinical Lead for the Battersea Practice Based Commissioning Cluster. The cluster has led on developing services such as evening smoking clinics and sexual health services for Battersea patients.

He is particularly interested in the prevention of heart disease through the management of risk factors such as elevated cholesterol and blood pressure. He offers a rectal clinic on Friday afternoons which may save you a visit to the hospital for the management of bleeding and painful rectal conditions. He is also trained to inject joints. He is knowledgeable about children’s’ mental health for example autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) and is able to prescribe for ADHD both in children and for adults where appropriate.

Dr Helen Lucas

Dr. Lucas joined the practice in 1999, having gained a degree in English before training to be a doctor. She works seven sessions a week in the practice. Her special interests include mental health, minor surgery and she provides the full range of family planning including coil fitting. She supervises anticoagulation monitoring at the practice. She has an MA in medical ethics and sits on a local ethics committee. She helps with staff management.

Dr. Brook joined the practice in 1999. She works four sessions a week in the practice, and has three children. Her special interests include General Medicine and Paediatrics. She is knowledgable about Ophthalmology, as her husband is a professor at Moorfields Eye Hospital. She works with our addiction counsellor on Substance Misuse. She is responsible for staff management.

She is also a trustee of a local charity working with the elderly.
